FAQ

• Can you give me a basic run-down on how your system works?
  

  Our compact tractor snowblower is a hydraulically powered snowblower, driven off either the rear PTO or (if equipped) the mid PTO. Both the mid or rear will work. The mid is encouraged if the customer does not plan to use it for a belly mower. This allows our hydraulic pump to stay on at all times and makes for easier hook-ups in beginning of winter and spring.

  If the rear PTO is the setup of choice, our pump simply slides off of the shaft at the rear of the tractor. The hoses quick disconnect and stay up and out of the way of the 3pt for easy storage.

  The snowblower is ran hydraulically, plumbed through the tractor's loader circuit and uses a skid-steer quick tach system to hook-up to the tractor's loader. The hoses couple from the snowblower to the tractor's loader arms.

• Does your compact tractor snowblower require an external hydraulic tank?
  

  No, our system does not need an external hydraulic tank. We "T" our system into the tractor's loader circuit where it is filtered and returned to the tractor for cooling.

• Do you have issues with tractor's over-heating?
  

  No. Because our system is a winter application product, we have never run into a compact tractor over-heating while using our snowblower system. If the customer is wanting to use our hydraulic system for a summer time application, we suggest adding kit #320-1-0188 which is the Tractor Heat and Pressure Warning light.

• Can you use this hydraulic setup to power other attachments?
  

  Yes. Our hydraulic system turns your compact tractor into a high flow skid steer machine. Attachments that don't require constant flow run optimally with our system. e.g. post hole augers, post pounders.
